Toy Safety for your Kids
Kids do like toys very much as we know, and don’t blame the kids for that. I was really into toys when I was a kid. But the important thing is the safety of the toy. In each year Consumer Product Safety Commission reports about 15 to 20 toy-related deaths and 150-200,000 hospital emergency room treated toy-related injuries to children under age 15. However, many of these could be prevent, especially if parents avoid the top toy hazards and closely administer younger kids around their toys.

Scooters and Riding Toys
These toys include skateboards and inline skates, especially when kids don’t wear helmets and other safety gear.
Toys containing Small Parts
These types of toys are balls and marbles, all of which pose a choking hazard to children under age three. In addition to buying age-appropriate toys, you have to be careful when you have kids of different ages in the house, keeping younger siblings away from your older kids’ toys, and making sure they don’t leave toys with small parts laying around.
Battery Chargers and Adapters
These kinds of stuffs are very attractive to the kids and these can cause injuries to children, including burns, when they are used without adult supervision.
Apart from choking hazards, and other dangers from unsafe toys, you should also aware from loud toys. These types of toys can pose a danger to your child’s hearing.
If your child is getting an iPod, iPhone, or other gadgets on which he can listen to music with headphones, you should be aware of the risk to your child’s hearing. To be safe, set the maximum volume on your child’s iPod to a limit where you can’t hear any music when your child has the headphones in his ears, and don’t forget to set a password combination so that your child doesn’t reset the maximum volume to a higher limit.
A little help from the parent, the kids can be safe and enjoy there toys. A little supervise from the parents also keep the kids from out of danger.
