How Give a Baby Bath

For baby bath water temperature is very important because cold water may cause of common cold for your sweet baby. On the contrary, very warm water may burn your baby’s soft tender skin. So, before pouring water or before giving a bath in a bathtub; you should check the temperature of water in order to make an ideal temperature for your baby’s bath. It is better to make the water temperature lukewarm but if you manage the water temperature equal to baby’s temperature; it will be the best though sometimes it depends on the environment condition for instance one can use slightly cold in summer whereas slightly warm in winter.
At the time of giving bath you should not move your eyes, even a moment, from your baby’s because it may become the threat of your baby’s life and health. Therefore, you must have everything ready such as diaper, shampoo, soap, cotton balls, washcloth and so on beside bathtub so that you can easily collect them without any hassle. You should use tearless baby shampoo or soap so that in does not produce any irritation or tears if shampoo or soap goes accidentally into the baby’s eye.
You should wash baby’s body very carefully. Moreover, you should pay especial attention when you wash its face. You should not apply a bar of soap directly. The best way for that you may take soap in your hand, rubbing the soap very gently into your both hands. After that keep down the soap and apply your hand to your baby’s soft face. You should not keep the soap longer period over your baby’s face because there is a possibility to go soap into its stomach with saliva and cause an infection. It is not necessary to apply soap all day in its face.
After completing its bath, you should spread a towel on the bed or dry floor and softly pick your baby up and put on the towel. Then you should take another soft towel and start gently and smoothly wiping off the water. Moreover, you should keep your mind that your baby’s skin is tender so you should not wipe its body harshly because there is a risk that it may harm you baby’s soft tender skin. Therefore it is better to do it gently. Here is a better idea for wiping, you should put on and off the towel in stead of rubbing it over its body. After that you may apply baby oil, lotion or powder what is necessary; then you can dress your baby.
